C++ Runtime Library Error R6025
« on: March 01, 2008, 03:39:04 pm »

When I try to select filters for video playback I get the following Visual C++ Runtime Error before the program automatically shuts down:

     >> R6025, Pure virtual function call<<

I've tried to do a clean reinstallation of MC12, but the problem persists. Any idea of what could be going wrong?

What build are you using?  Did you try to update?

Jim, I'm running build 12.0.441, which I guess is the last update I can get through the program.

When you start the program after a couple of crashes, it will suggest removing third party programs, etc.  Accept this if you can.

Did you install anything that uses MC12?

You may have a bad directshow filter.

I've tried to run MC in "Safety Mode" (disabling third party programs and pluggins,etc.) and I get the same error. Last installation in my system has been a Hauppagge TV USB Stick and its software (unfortunately, it is not compatible with MC).
