Logitech Keyboard Hot-Keys... [Solved]
« on: February 26, 2008, 08:14:14 am »

Probably been posted before... but is there any plans to make a feature that enables the MJ to appear in the Logitech SetPoint Settings?

There is an option that shows media players... Here is a screen cap...

Link Removed...

EDIT: Just thought i should point out that it works fine while the program is in focus, it just needs to be added to that list so can be accessed by the buttons while busy in other programs, which is the purpose of a shortcut button :D

Your link does not work for me.

This may not help I'm afraid, but: I use the old iTouch-Software with Vista (because SetPoint doesn't support my "old" Logitech Desktop) and for me MC and MJ are shown in the shortcut list for media players automaticly. The list only shows MC or MJ according to which of them I installed at last.
btw: iTouch works perfect with Vista for me. I never had any problems.

StF,
"addicted to" above should be "according to"

:D I looked up exactly (and only) this word in my dictionary before my posting... and chose the wrong one :) I modified my posting so now it has the correct word. Thanks for correcting me.

It works for me.

It still does not for me (IE, ff, Opera)... strange.

EDIT: Now the link works!

To make the 'Media Player' button work, firstly, be sure that you change 'Media Center' to 'Media Jukebox' in the players.ini, the wiki is geared towards 'Media Center'. If that doesn't work to add it to the drop down. Simply change the action of the 'Media Player' key to 'Launch Program' and locate the Media Jukebox 12.exe.

That should get it working nicely with the s510 keyboard :), even with the HUD.

If it really wont work edit this xml file, comment out the Stop, Prev, Next and Play/Pause XML markup.

C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\Devices\Keyboard\2000036

copy and rename, 2000036.xml to 2000036_1.xml incase you need it again...
