I went away with a couple of mates to Peaceful Bay and caught a few fish, some of which can be seen here ... The Fishing Trip : Episode I

I saw these before you posted and looked through all of them.  I thought maybe California.  Great pictures.  Thanks.  Now I want to go there.  It looks wild.

I think you have to read from right to left.  They're in the other hemisphere.

But the second one was a heck of a big fish.

Its the most south western part of Western Australia, which is fortunately still mostly state forest (protected), and has very few people living in the region.

I'll have to rustle up some photos of the forest - its home to the karri tree(Wikipedia), and really quite beautiful.

I have to give credit where it's due though, the big one was hooked by my mate (the one posing with it kinda upright), who then gave it to me to land as he is inexperienced with fish and surf like that. Of course I had to be talked into it ;)
