I Was Walking Around In Sams Club Today, And Noticed A 50 Inche HDTV For About $1,200 A Few Months Back There Were Many Of Them In The $3,000 Range.

I'm afraid to buy another one. Prices have fallen. Other technologies are around the corner. OLED, for example.
New sets use HDMI connectors (nice) for both audio and video and HDCP protection (not so nice). I think I'll let the dust settle.
