Saving tag information to a Media Server

Hi,

I search for a while about this subject, but found nothing...

I am trying to save tag information on a Media Center client connected to a Media Server on another PC, I couldn't see any change on the media server PC and when I restart the client every changes are lost.

Is it normal? is there a Read Only flag that I could change?

Hi David,

Media Center in client mode is "read-only", any changes you make will be lost when the program exits.

Hi John,

Thanks for the reply... I asked this because I planned to access it via network most of the time...

Modifying tag information directly on the server is not really a problem. However, rating the musics via the media server would be very helpful.

My Suggestion: At the very least, be able to rate songs via network would be great to implement. Since this process is mainly done while listening...
