Why won't MP3 encoding work
« on: August 08, 2008, 03:39:44 pm »

I have just installed Media Jukebox 12 and it keeps telling me that I have to purchase an MP3 encoding License.  I have never had to do this with hthis program before.  Can someoone help me?

The MP3 encoder is not included with MJ12. If you want to encode songs in MP3 format, you will need to purchase the MP3 encoder.
You can always use a different format.

Alternatively download the Lame mp3 encoder and put it in the plug in folder along with the others. Then configure to use as external decoder. Tools + Advanced Tools + Convert Format + Change + Encoding + External Encoder.

Not as good quality I fear.
