Will there be a license upgrade path for MC11 users to get to MC13?

When will MC13 licenses be available for purchase?

I read that recent builds of MC12 will accept MC13 licenses so that appears to be taken care of.

The last couple of builds of MC11.1 were changed to be compatible with MC12. You can have both versions installed if you want to try MC12.

The last MC 11.1 build is available here: ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/MC111201.exe

If you do a purchase now with the newest Media Center 12, you will get a full Media Center 13 license.

That's build 530.

Only MC13 licenses have been sold since August 10, 2008. Older builds of MC12 just don't work for purchase now -- a new download is needed in that case.

I'll lock this thread now and remove the more verbose answers in the interest of simplicity and clarity.

We'll announce more details when MC13 is public (not soon).
