Make sure you have PDF checked in your auto-import.  The files imported will show up under documents.  Try a search in MC for the file.

Nothing has changed as far as I know.

i ve tried  a search and no pdf's texts html's or words show up in jriver.. and i have prolly over 100,000 in those types of files! did a setting maybe turn of so it doesnt show up in auto import options?

It's under Library & Folder/Auto-import/Folder/Edit/Advanced.  Look under the media type called Data.  It's there on mine.
