I started p2p i would say after Napster who was a really junk
To check my want list, from this i bought a lot of records-country mainly.
10 minutes after having a look at Emusic ,i took the free trial -one month or 100 downloads at the time-knowing that i will stay.
As you say,so much music to try.For me so much names i know but never or little listened to it
On the top of it many many albums i have on vinyl.
I started p2p to find music i have on vinyl.Until now i still buy vinyl. Also to try names i got from friends and from people here on this forum.I used the server from Meda Jukebox to listen to music from others. No luck after less than a week,no more download, after a while no more stream...
I find this american stupidity so .......X 10000,that i use p2p just because i know it worry them.I mean i'am online 24\24 non stop, few days without a break, running 2 or 3 programs at the same time
I do not download that much, right now trying to get the Sonic Youth at 192 kps.I have all the Sonic Youth but all on vinyl.Just one i have on cd-and vinyl as well
I do downloaded a lot from Audiogalaxy when i understood that they will close.A lot means 14 ooo songs.....
Because i do not buy anymore any record from big labels,i'am just organizing, tagging, controling quality of all this songs. It is a lot of work.
I would pay to get them from a site like Emusic. But none, and to late ,i will now always use p2p and buy pirate records for any music from a big label
I spent HUDGE money on records during all my life. When i say HUDGE ,i really mean it.Now the money i spend is on -like always- indee labels, second hand.If i really 'need' a record from a big label,i will NEVER buy the american edition.
From now i just want rip them ,in any way.
In september i will put around 400 GB to share, maybe more...
Beside this ,i like Emusic.
