What is this Cinemar Main Lobby package?
« on: January 26, 2009, 05:48:54 pm »

It's on my machine, but it seems to have nothing to do with Media Center?  What do I actually need to run MC?  What is MLServer too?

You might have better luck if you direct Main Lobby questions to the Main Lobby forum / support team.

Please see www.cinemaronline.com for information about Main Lobby.  It's their product.  Music Lobby (also theirs) can control MC.

So I take it it has nothing to do with MC?  How did I install if from the same website then?  So confused.  It seems all I needed was MC but I manage to install MainLobby and ML Server too.

It isn't necessary if all you're doing is running MC.

I use MLServer and Mainlobby w/DVDLobby for my movie library, it's a great software suite, especially if you're a control freak that likes to tweak things.  You can do just about anything with it.  That said, I didn't find any value added in their music lobby feature.  I just created a button in mainlobby that launches MC13 in theater view, and work it from there.  If you want to know more about it, go to www.cinemarsolutions.com (they changed their URL), then click on their forum.
