I think most people who setup MC as a true media management system at home have considered building HTPC systems, or installing them. It's a high end feature, too, so you could and would have to charge a lot for the complete system. It really takes off as a system when you get multiple HTPCs around the house all linked to the same content. Having one is cool but when it replaces your cable box or DVD player, it's golden. We have a HTPC at every TV and that alone...no cable/satellite box. No DVD player. In the theater we did add a Denon Blu Ray player but that is literally the only player we have.
I should mention the HTPCs have a DVD drive, which is ultra convenient.
