Date Field

When I put in a date of "1/1/1940"  or "01/01/1945", MC displays a date of "1940" or "1945".  For any other date, eg "4/1/1950", MC displays it correctly as input, "4/1/1950".  Anyone know what is going on.  I am running MC12

If you're running Media Center, not Media Jukebox, please let me know and I'll move this to that board.

What version are you running.  Build 534 is available on the MC12 board.  MC13 was also just released.  If you bought MC after August 8, 2008, your license will also work with MC13.

This is because the date can display as year-only, date-only, and date plus time.  In version 12, 1/1/2008 meant year-only.  You must add a time to force a full display.

This limitation was removed in Media Center 13.
