Hello,

Am running  13.0.119 and found that is was a bit sluggish after a while.  I looked at the memory consumption and noticed that MC was taking over 1 GB of Virtual Memory.  Needless to say, it never happened with MC 12.

Is this normal for a medium size library (< 100K files)?

For the first few hours, it's possible that thumbnailing and other background processes will slow the PC down. 
You can tell MC to do the thumbnailing overnight.  It's in options for Tree and View.

It's also possible that it's something related, like a virus checker or a plug-in.  To thumbnail videos, for example, it needs to load DirectShow filters, and these are not always well behaved.
