I recentcly downloaded and installed MC13. After initially importing my library I noticed I had some folder naming issues etc in my folder structure. I made the required changes (while MC13 was running) and MC13 automatically made most of the changes (Genre changes etc.)
However A number of the albums lost their cover art and I had to delete them from the library and rerun Auto Import.
Afterwards (while it was analyzing Audio - another point of issue I have - posted in another thread) I noticed that each of the albums I messed with now have duplicate entries in the library.
I feel that the software should have an option to remove invalid library entries during an import, or at least a tool that allows the auditing of the DB.
I saw a similar thread back from October/November indicating that Playlists may have a similar issue:
