Hi, I am fairly new to this MC13 application but I have been using my PS3 as a media receiver for about a year now, mainly using WMP11. I started to get an error (DLNA 7522) which I think is to do with the amount of music files I had, some sort of limitation within WMP11. It played video and images just fine but error'd on the music, so I have been looking around trying to find something to replace WMP11.
I am just trialing MC13 at the moment but I have to say that initially, MC13 looks like a really good product, very configurable with nice graphical touches such as 3d menu's etc.
I too were having a similar issue (as on another post) where for both images and video it was only displaying the same file structure as for music and so I have ticked the 'Allow Visual Content' and now I am able to browse all media. I cannot play any video files however; it shows up as unsupported media. Now I know that the PS3 can play these as they play just fine under WMP11, but I was wondering if it was a setting that I had overlooked? these files are just avi files or VOB's renamed as AVI's.
Also, if I may make a suggestion, the PS3 seems to be an extremely popular media receiver and if you add this receiver in your drop down box in UPnP options with all the optimum settings it would be very useful. Also if JRiver were to write an application for the PS3, it could probably have the same interface as your 'Theatre View'. There has been a recent software update which came with a clever photo browser so perhaps the next one could have your software in it?
Thanks and regards
