TVersity-like functionality?
« on: June 22, 2009, 01:13:05 pm »

Hi Chaps,

I use TVersity to stream stuff from my PC to my TV, via my Xbox.
Just wondered whether or not there were plans to do something similar with MC?

Also, what would be really cool is if I could use MC as a sort of streaming server - in the UK, we have the BBC iPlayer, which is a web-based platform which allows us to catch up on various BBC programs. However, I cannot access the iPlayer through the xbox because it has no browser (boo). TVersity have just started a beta program to allow you to stream certain BBC iPlayer programs (although it is only selected programs and is a bit buggy).

Does MC offer anything similar - if not, do you think it might in the future?
