Please note the missing thumnail of PIA11680:

All of these are TIF files, downloaded from NASA/JPL. The image that can't be displayed by MC in any form (thumbnail, Playing Now, etc) is very large: 14960x7860 at 352.8 Mb. The size seems to be the problem, as a simiar TIF file in the above view is 12068x6408 @ 226Mb and shows no problems.

Those huge TIFF files are causing the image decoder to hit the process limit of 2GB of memory.

We'll mark the program as large address aware in the next build, which should allow the OS to give it more like 3.5GB in a 64-bit environment.

Hopefully it takes NASA a few years to catch up to the new limit
