I am using the latest MC14.
MC starts to open then says Media Centre has uncounted a problem and needs to close.

What else can I tell you so that you can help?

Cheers

What do you mean by "remote access"?

What are you trying to do?

Hi,

I am using remote desktop from my office to my HTPC which is in another room.

I am doing this as with my current method of working through the network my thumbnails/cover art that I have applied disapears at random.

Gab suggested I try using remote desktop to see if this stops the disappearing cover art.

Thanks

You remember if you left MC in Theater View before you connected with remote desktop? Only Windows 7 to Windows 7 will handle Remote Desktop with Theater View. Even though it should just give you an error, it have crashed the whole app for me, and all thumbnails with it. This might not be your case, if the thumbnails was disappearing before you tried remote desktop.
