iTunes DRM M4V
« on: November 26, 2009, 04:30:12 pm »

Hello,

Attempting to play back iTunes DRM'd M4V video is resulting in a repeatable crash.  A search turned up some results from past versions that didn't appear to be resolved.

Is it possible to play files of this nature back under MC 14?  I'm running 14.0.101 (current version).

Thanks,

Chris

Does it play in QuickTime?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have videos that play in quicktime just fine (downloaded from the iTunes store).  When I try to play them in .118 under Windows 7 64 I get a grey screen.  The progress bar acts as if it is playing but there is now sound or video.....just grey.

Any ideas?  I need this for my kid's pbs shows that I can't get anywhere else.

Is there any solution to this?  They play if you pick play in external program but not if you choose using Quicktime engine.

Sorry, playback of m4v files with Apple DRM does not work.  I have not found a solution yet.

Thanks for the info.  I'll see if I can figure something out......I know I have no intention of using iTunes, but I can't find another source for PBSKids shows.
