PS3 and MC14
« on: December 29, 2009, 06:00:54 pm »

I had version .079 and it worked fine.  I switched to version .118 and now I am having a few problems.

1.  Some .avi imports show up in the music library and thus cannot be played in the video player.  They even have a little musical note thumbnail beside them, but it says they are avi.  It only does this for a few movies. I can play them fine in WMP.

2.  I can only play movies now, I cannot use any of the other functions on the PS3 such as pause, or scene search, etc...

3.  For whatever reason, the duration of the movie is not recognized in either the PS3 or MC14.

Everything else worked fine before.

Any ideas?

Duration is a problem we are still working on.

Thanks.

Hi Jim,

Understood.  So what would be the issue preventing me from using the Pause, Scene Search, etc...   on my PS3 when using it with MC14 (which didn't happen before).  As it stands, I cannot pause a movie, and cannot jump to a scene.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Or if you can tell where I can get a copy of build 14.0.79 that be great, as it worked fantastic for me.

In addition, I have found that with some movies, the audio track is not synced with the video.  The movie works fine when I play it via other means.

Try turning off video conversion. I don't think that was even an option in .79
