oppo bluray player
« on: January 17, 2010, 10:52:37 am »

I  have  an OPPO   bluray  player  BDP-83   and  the  software  does  not  recognize it when I  click on the UPnP  server; every  other dlna server I  have  downloaded  can recognize this device but  not  your  software ; any  suggestions?

Did you try build 127, available on the MC14 board?

You need to set it up in Options.

Using the   generic  dlna   it  shows up on my  blu ray player but I can not  do anything  and  the  server  displays  messages  of  "unhandled  sort  criteria in browse:+dc:title"  followed  by " browse browse  direct children 0".   Any  suggestions?

What build?  If it's 127, we'll need a wireshark sniff.  Check the wiki (link above) and search for wireshark.

Wherever  you moved  post  to when i  click on the link   it   says  i can not access. In any  event  I  ran  wireshark  ; how  do  I  transfer this  file  to you?

Are you CERTAIN that you are using the generic DLNA profile?

From your dump it appears you have the Windows Media Compatible flag set (under the profile -> advanced -> WMC compatible). This should NOT be set for generic DLNA devices.

If you have multiple servers running, make sure you select the generic DLNA one when you browse from the oppo.
