MC losing UPnP Settings
« on: January 31, 2010, 10:16:49 pm »

I'm using MC 14.0.130 with a D-Link DSM-320.  Running it as UPnP (as I have, for months, with no problem).  I have to customize the view under "Options", so it shows all the genres, series, etc.  The problem is this - I kill MC when I'm done, then when it is restarted, the settings it changed are back where they were - it isn't saving my changes.

The fact that I have to go change them at all (when it was working fine, until the update) is annoying enough.  Now, having to go fix it every time I run MC has me looking at alternative software.

I would continue using the old version that worked fine, except you guys forced the update on us.

When you say "kill MC", what do you mean?

How do you load your library?  Are you using Library Server by chance?

DLNA view settings are stored in the currently loaded library, so you'll need full access (i.e. read and write) to be able to make changes that stick.
