I want a theater view to display the NAME (Not file name) but the Name of MOvies (ie tag name) yet I want the view sorted by the Date of Import.

In attempting, I goto theater view options and create a view.

I say I want ITEMS to SHOW as import date and then i say sort results by import date. This provides a list of my movies displayiong there imprt date and sort by the import date. BUT what I want is to display NAME and sort by import date. So then I say Show Name and on the modify results i say SORT by import date. This gives me a list of my Names sorted alphabetically by name.

Cant seem to hit the corrct combination ?

there are two places where files get sorted. in the 'set rule for file displa' the sorting is set for the last level. but when you are one level up, choose that item in the settings from theaterview. where you choose name, under it are settings, and one is sorting. altough its not possible to make you own sorting there, date imported is one of the options.
