purchased 15 upgraded from 14 imported media, but lost all settings/views.

this happens every time i upgrade. how do i avoid loosing all of my customized views and settings for everything- ripping, burning, dsp studio,etc....?  :(

MC15 can import settings from an MC14 library.

Back up in MC14, restore in MC15, and read carefully when you do.

exactly how do i back up mc14?
just a hard drive back up or is there a n option in the tree?

found it. in MC 14-
file>Library>Back up Library
on Vista-
default stores in
C>Users>(Your Name)>Application Data>Roaming>JRiver>MC14>MC Library Backup (Default - date)
it is a zip folder
then close.
open MC15
File>Library> Restore Library
find it (above)

You will also need a recent version of MC14 of the settings won't transfer. Older builds did not backup settings to be restored in 15...
