I just upgraded to MC 15, did a Library Restore from MC 13, and all seems to be there great, except.

1.  Did my smartlists convert to playlists?
2.  What happened to my saved Preset Views from MC 13 (custom columns and sorting, etc).  How do I restore those?

This should work when restoring an MC14 library, but it may not with an MC13 library.  Settings were added to the backup in MC14.

Smartlists might work.  Double check that they aren't there.
