Backup and restore of MC 15 config
« on: June 23, 2010, 04:10:28 pm »

Is it possible to back up my complete personnal configuration setting of MC15 ?

What is the process to restore this config in case of reinstallation from scratch of MC 15 ?

regards

In MC15, user settings are backed up with the library and restored if you select the option.

File/Library....

Sorry for this "NewBizz" question but ...
   - where do you select the option ;File/library ..?

  - are the library files located in the following folder => C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\J River ?

thanks for your help

On the menu at the top of the program.  Click on "File".

When I do an upgrade within version 15 - say from 15.0.46 to 15.0.65 are ALL user settings restored automatically? I'm asking because the upgrades seem to do re-installations.

Thanks,
Rod

Just install the newer build.  Don't uninstall the older one.  Your settings will be preserved.
