Use folder name in Theater View
« on: July 04, 2010, 10:25:45 am »

Hi. I have just started up with J River and have a problem with Theater view. All my CD´s are stored in individuel folders on my hard driv. Each folder has got a name eg. "Moore Gary", "Adams Bryan",  and so on.  Each folder contains the songs from one album and a JPG file of the cover called "Folder".  I am not interested in downloading anything but instead showing what I have on the hard drive.  How do I get J River only to show the names of the folders and show my own JPG file inside each folder in Theater View?

Welcome to Interact.

The art should be named folder.jpg, not folder.  If it is,  MC should show your folder art automatically.  But it sounds like you're browsing by folder instead of by artist or album.

My art is named folder.jpg but it seem like J River not using them. Instead it start dowloading the art. Regarding the Theater Viev, I would like all my music organized after the names on all my folders. How do set J river up to this?
