I would much appreciate some help here. I am trying to Rip Cd's

I have a TDK 24/10/40 Windows 98SE 1 gig  Athlon T-Bird , 1 gig RAM

Here is my error:

I tried everything from slowing the rip rate to 4X, and using Digital Secure

What version of MJ?  Copy your system info from Help in MJ and paste it here.

How far does it get?  Can you rip to raw wav?

Disk space can also be a problem.

It is crashing during copying, not encoding. I can not rip a raw wave... usually get about 4 or five songs off, and then it hangs up

I have two hard drives:

Drive C has O.S. and Programs. 20 gigs total, 5 available. Temp folder is C/Music/Temp

Drive D is 80 gigs, and has 25 free this is where "My Music" folder is

I have this problem in both Version 7x and 8x, so I don't think it is a version problem.
Something is probably wrong with my "puter", not MJ, but I can't figure it out.

Ik, I re installed Windows, and now I am getting an "Out of Memory" error that tells me to close other programs. MJ was the only program running, and I have a gig of memory....
what would cause this?

Have you tried updating your cd-rom drivers? Does your system rip digitally with other software ok?
