FLAC help
« on: April 12, 2003, 12:41:45 pm »

I know how to get Media Jukebox to play and encode flac files.  It plays fine but never accepts my inputs for encoding.

I'd appreciate somebody just copy and pasting their command line information so I can figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Such as tag parameters? MJ/MC won't accept them. There is no wildcards to use AFAIK. MJ/MC apparently inserts tag info AFTER the file has been encoded, rendering tag parameters useless for unsupported formats. Best bet is to use Exact Audio Copy, which is the best ripper/encoder out there.

Nikolay:
Others may say it is EAC the best.
Concerning MJ and MC you need to have converting in the back ,when ripping .
You put 20 cds one after one in your drive to rip them to Wave and you go to bed .
Next morning you have all your mp3- or APE or OGG ,MPC ect- waiting for you
