When I select from a right click menu, MC is hanging.

Actually, anytime a pop up menu opens, MC hangs.  Also, I have had several crashes when hitting esc to get out of full screen display mode.

Maybe you're running an agressive pop-up blocker.

No. No pop-up blocker.  The menu's open well enough.  It is when they are closing that MC hangs.  Also, for the last couple of builds I have noticed that sound quality of the Playing Now is adversly effected when I am Analyzing Audio.

Try disabling your virus checker.

It's probably going to turn out to be something like that.  I don't think it's an MC bug.

Well, I can't really keep the virus scanner disabled all the time. Or, everytime I open a menu.   I run MC constantly.
Plus, why would the viruscan just start having this effect since I installed the 132 update?

Are you saying disabling your virus scanner fixes it?

If so, you might report the problem to your virus scanner maker.

If not, I would make a backup then do a full uninstall, reboot, reinstall and see if it fixes it.

The hanging on the pop up menu thing seems to be fixed since I installed vers. 136.  Haven't been able to test the sound quality issue that occurs when analyzing audio.
