My "Library server is not reachable from the internet"
« on: October 28, 2010, 09:15:45 am »

This just started.  Both server and client are vers 136.  No settings have changed but, I suddenly cannot connect.  Is this a known issue?

See the wiki article called "Network Access".  It's likely that your IP address changed.  Anytime your cable modem is power cycled this will happen to your outside address.  Inside addresses can change when you reboot.

The IP was the same.  I got the above error message when I tested the server under Media Network Options.  Apparrently, the problem was with the media Access Key.  When I reset this, connectivity was restored.  I guess the old key got corrupted?  Anyway, thanks for the fast response.

The IP was the same.
There are at least two that matter.  The machine and the modem's outside address.

Both IP's were the same and still correct.  The issue must have been with the access key because as soon as I "reset" it I was able to load the library ion the client.
