Can't drag and drop MP3 files
« on: November 02, 2010, 02:35:19 pm »

I'm not able to drag and drop regular .mp3 files (associated with media center) anymore, it seems.
Anything I can do to provide more debug info?

From windows explorer to either the Audio view or any sub-view below Audio. This applies to both individual files as well as folders.
Double-clicking one file plays it normally.

Is it possible you're running one of the programs as administrator (due to UAC, etc.)?  This is a common explanation for drag-n-drop not working.  I wish Microsoft had made the icon clearly show why it wasn't working for this case, but they didn't.

I tried to run both programs as administrator with the same results, unfortunately.
Edit: This was definitely working yesterday before I upgraded, up from I believe 15.0.058 or so

Any debugging suites or similar that's quick to install?

Excellent, rebooting Windows 7 did the trick   :-\

Very strange, I'll keep an eye out and see if I can reproduce it, but it seems related to windows then.
Thank you for the excellent support as usual!
