MC 15 nor MC 16 playing my Pictures anymore

Dear All,

I'm using MC15.0174. When showing pictures with the "shrink large images to fit display" option
checked I just get a white screen. I'm using XP SP3 with DirectX v9.0c and a nvidia gforce 6700xl with the
nv4_disp.dll (6.14.12.6658 - nVIDIA ForceWare 266.58) driver.

It has been working already but since one of the updates it doesn't.
Installing the MC16 shows the same problem.

I tried the latest Nvidia Drivers and those from Microsoft, nothing worked.

What else can I do?

JRiver,

Please respond to this.  When playing pictures through "Playing Now", getting white screen for some pictures, it plays some pictures and in some cases it doesn't play certain pictures.  MC14 and below works great;  MC 15 & 16 not good.

Image playback in v15 and v16 requires graphics hardware capable of acceleration.

With v16, you might try using lower settings in Options > General > Video Card.

Options -> General -> Video?  I do not see video settings here.

I did find settings under Options -> Image -> RAW Settings.  I set to 1/2 size (lowest quality), still spratic with images not showing properly.

Matt,
 Somewhere around 300KB the size of the image, it begins to lose quality in picture.  As somewhere around 800KB, 1.5MB and larger it doesn't show at all.

If you're using a slideshow, try increasing the time between pictures.

I am noticing the small display image window, it says "double click here to bring the image back", does not work.  when I double click in it, image not restored.

Video Card settings are available in 16.0.81 and newer.
