Theatre View - Folders?
« on: April 20, 2011, 07:57:24 pm »

In MC16 (latest version), Theater View, when I select a top level item, it does not go to the appropriate files (music files for Music, video files for Video, etc...) but instead shows four folder icons for Music, Images, Video, and TV (each one browsing to its respective libraries).  An unnecessary and redundant extra step.  How do I get it back to the MC15 behavior of just going directly to the type of files appropriate to the top level selection?

Thanks,

Kyle

That's not right.  Are you connecting to a DLNA Server?  If so, try connecting to Library Server.

I don't think I'm connecting to any server.  I just want this to serve up files that are in this Media Center's own local library (which happen to be on another computer).  This is a fresh install, and I simply mapped the relevant networked folders to the Auto-Import folders and nothing else.

Please try:
Options > Theater View > Items To Show > Reset

Have you checked Options->Theater View->Items To Show

with default settings there should be own Root Library Items for at least Audio, Images and Video.(don't remember exactly as I have modiefied these to my likings). You can also reset Items here.
