Is it possible to disable this thing?

I'd like to, for instance, enter the episode number of a file, then key down to the next file and enter that file's episode number. Instead I get a useless menu that sticks itself in the way. Wastes a lot of time closing it each time when you're tagging hundreds of files. Thanks in advance!

I agree it can be a pain when tagging episode numbers.

In the case of the image you used, you would be better off using the 'fill properties from filename' function. You find it by right clicking your files and choosing the 'library tools' option. You should be able to find a preset naiming system that matched the one you have there.
