Possible to Change DNLA Port from 52100?
« on: August 09, 2011, 01:18:06 pm »

I am trying to run two DLNA servers over the internet using Port Forwarding in my router. I thought in at least MC15 that the DLNA port could be changed but I can not find it in MC16. Since both servers default to 52100 and I can only use that port once in the router I would like to change it in one of the servers. I am able to do it for WebRemote/Play but not DNLA (for use with PP).

Are you referencing the TCP Port? That is the one that defaults to 52199 for Library Server. When I change that it only seems to affect WebPlay/Webremote. When I look at the Services and Plug-ins it lists the DLNA server as 52100 and Library Server as 52199. I have been able to successfully change that and portforward two different ports and two different servers for WebRemote and WebPlay.

Do I have to add a colin or comma or something to change the DNLA port?

Oh and Thanks for the quick response Jim
