Decent SATA DVD
« on: August 19, 2011, 09:42:29 pm »

Any suggestions for a decent DVD?  I'd like it to be quiet.  It needs to be decent for CD audio rips.

I've this LG thing I picked up for $25 that has been mostly okay but makes way too many odd noises and struggles with more disks that I would expect it to.

So far, So good.  I've ripped a number of CDs, some DVDs and Blu-ray.  Fast and quiet enough; no issues.
