I've seen some photos of developers on camping trips. Perhaps they decided to spend some time on team building?

Is there any word on roughly when MC 17 will be available?  I'm hoping theater view will get some big improvements.

My guess is that it will be within the next month because they have changed the licensing on 16 which makes me think that people purchasing 16 after the licensing change will get a free upgrade to 17.

I upgraded MC16 tonight and ended up getting 17. However, I am getting an error message preventing the install. Specifically it appears to require either the 32 or 64 bit version. I have Windows 7 (64-bit) installed, so version 17 appears to need 32-bit? Or, is 17 still in beta or not even released yet in any format. I don't see much here about 17 yet.

What bugs me is that I have already paid for the new upgrade.

I've been thinking that with new versions of 16 being mostly bug-fixes rather than new or enhanced features, MC17 can't be too far away. And as a matter of pure information, MC15 went up to 174... *HOPES*

MC is a 32 bit program and it runs fine on a 64 bit OS.

Your license will work for this version (16) and the next one (whenever it appears).

Okay since it's a quiet weekend here let's feed the 'conspiracy theory' some more.

This is the first week in a long time that I haven't seen an upgrade. So JR must just be super busy getting 17 ready for market soon.

Ah man!!! I only purchased MC16 a few months ago. Hopefully i'll be eligible for a free upgrade.
