When working in the Recently Imported playlist, if I drag and drop a track into the Library then MJ closes the Playlist tree.  Which is a pain because then I have to click-click-click back down the tree to re-open Recently Imported.  Usualy trees stay open unless you close them or leave the application.

Also it's a PITA not to be able to delete a file from recently imported.  If you import something and decide that you don't like it, you should be able to easily delete it.  Instead you have to navigate to to, then delete it.

Why did Recently Imported move to the playlist tree, rather than stay in the Media Library?

Shift-Del will delete a file from the recently imported list or any playlist.  I added a request to the wishlist that this command be added to the shortcut menu in playlist views.
