Web Remote and Theater View setup lost with upgrade?
« on: October 27, 2011, 01:51:25 pm »

It looks like my Web Remote and Theater View views were lost with the upgrade from MC16 to MC17.  Is that expected, and is there an easy way to move/copy the customized views across?

Changes in Theater View required a reset.

Open both MC16 and MC17 configuration screens and use copy and paste.

That sounds great.  Is there actually some way to copy and paste configurations???

I went into Options->TheaterView and neither using right-click nor standand windows shortcuts can I seem to copy/paste any info.

What's the trick?

I think he's referring to Options > Theater View > [selected view scheme] > Set Rules For File Display > Import/Export.  This is certainly faster than building them all from scratch at least. Maybe I'm wrong and there's something fancier I missed too though.

That's what he meant.

It is what has been taking me so long to jump.  But now I have to....
