MC 17 no longer "Beta"?

I noticed the 'beta' moniker has been removed from the latest build. Is MC 17 stable enough now for those, like myself, using it for Audio and Images only?

That was my mistake. It's beta, but I think it's stable enough to use for most people. You could try running it alongside MC16 for a while to be sure.
