Anyway to speed up CD device management?

Man, please tell me it can be sped up. It is terribly slow. If you delete a track from your compilation it takes forever to refresh and drags my entire system down. Adding tracks causes the same thing.

MJ8 is faster than MJ7.2

A Faster computer will help.
