WASAPI on jriver media center: exclusive mode
« on: December 05, 2011, 03:10:44 pm »

hey i really like the sound of my xonar combined with WASAPI.
i also like to control volume from the windows mixer.
i saw it can be made if i disable exclusive mode,
but is there a loss in quality when not using the exclusive mode?

thanks :) first post.

Welcome to the forum.  Try switching the volume control to "Internal".  Click on the little speaker icon in the upper left to change it.

ASIO is the recommended output for a Xonar.
