Routing sound from other programs through MC
« on: December 07, 2011, 07:17:13 am »

Hi,

Matt, you mentioned this feature in the "Where are we going" thread, is it currently in development? Any estimate on when it can be available? I'm asking because I got a free WiMP memebership included with my cable/broadband plan, and to get the most out of it I really need this feature. It would be great for games and web media that's not supported by MC too.

WiMP is a streaming service like Spotify, currently only available in Scandinavia ( wimp.no , in Norwegian/Swedish/Danish only). It can be used world wide, but one needs a Scandinavian phone number (or a friend who has one) to receive the activation code. It lets you download playlists for offline listening, also on your Android/iPhone. The bit rate in HQ mode is 224 kbps. Of course a WiMP plugin in MC would be great :) Their email is support@wimp.no .
