Ripping log
« on: May 08, 2002, 02:37:32 am »

When using Digital secure methode while ripping, you get a log-file. When errors occure,
the percents go down. With unreliable data, you have lost quality. But If only retries
with reading occure, the percent goes also down. I assume, that there no problems, becaus
de data is OK, isn't it. Why saying quality is not 100%, the code is exact, isn't it?

Thanks, Greetings

The percent listed will only be exactly 100 if there was never a need for more than two reads per sector on the disk. In other words, the second read was always identical to the first one. The lower the percentage, the more reads that had to be made before getting two consecutive identical reads.
