Sorry JimH, what made I wrong - my englisch is not the best - may be I used some wrong word.

There is no way to extend a license.  The only thing that might work is using another PC, but I think you said you can't do that.

I have just purchased Media centre but rather foolisly copied the serial number and stored it in a .txt file. I now realise I need the .mjr file but have search my computer, including the jrivers directory, but cannot find it. Which directory is it supposed to be stored in?

The "Purchase" link above explains how everything works.  You can use your Registration Code to do a Restore if you can't find the Install Key (mjr file).  The Install Key is only good for 14 days.
