MC17 under WinXP and ASIO - a good combination?
« on: April 07, 2012, 10:03:31 am »

In my setup works a Lynx TWO-B soundcard with ASIO and WinXP as OS. This PC handles only audio. Is JRiver MC17 able to support this config?

I am asking since MC17 has been developped under Windows 7 and WASAPI audio driver.

Lynx driver http://www.lynxstudio.com/support_downloads_results.asp?prod=12&type=0

Unfortunately Lynx doesn´t support WASAPI what I could read in that thread http://www.lynxstudio.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=3062&title=wasapi-issue-aes16e

If the ASIO driver works with other programs, it will work with MC.  You could download MC and try it.
