OKay I have an old version, but I'm happy with it and never felt the need to upgrade.  Recently I installed MJ on a new machine and performed a license restore.  Well it must not have took as 30 days later it keeps telling me I have to "buy it".  Each time I restore the license and I get the message telling me the restore was successful, and each time it does not work.  Now I have done this before on other machines and had no problem.  The only difference here is this machine has XP on it.  Does that matter?

Also IIRC when I purchased v7.0 I thought I got a free upgrade to v8.0.  Did I drink too much coffee that day or do I indeed have a free upgrade to 8.0 with my 7.0 license?

8.0 will work with a 7.2 license.  Details are here:

XP shouldn't matter.
