Webplay Search Customization
« on: April 15, 2012, 08:57:13 am »

Thank you for the best media management suite on the planet! :)  I've been using JRiver's Media Center for many years now, and the consistent development is very exciting.  Lately, I've been enjoying the WebGizmo and WebPlay services.  This system has incredible potential, far beyond the media center database I used to know.

Where can I learn more specific information on customizing the search feature of WebPlay?  I know about the http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/WebEngine_SDK but, the information seems limited.  Are there specific examples of alternate search templates?   Or, more information resources?

It would be helpful to have all primary information related to the file displayed with it's title. The WebGizmo search displays a bit more information than the WebPlay search results.  For me, the ideal display would be in tables similar to the database interface of Media Center.  I find this helpful when managing large quantities of media.   Thanks again for your continued work on these essential media tools.

Thank You &
Best Wishes,
Chris

Can anyone direct me to more information regarding modification of the search results in webplay or webgizmo?  It would also be nice to have more information displayed with the results, such as song name, artist, bitrate, etc.  The only information I could find was at http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/WebEngine_SDK and it doesn't seem to offer any solutions. Thank you for your time and interest.  Keep up the great work!

Thanks &
Best Wishes,
Chris
