Only left channel plays through right side.
« on: May 19, 2012, 08:19:35 pm »

Windows 7, 2 channel

Our hard drive crashed and had to be replaced. After loading jriver using the original key. All media loaded. Only the left channel plays and it plays through the right side. I have confirmed this to be 100% in the jriver proccessing with test tracks and outputs from the sound card (juli@ with the differencial I2S output).

Does any one know what might cause this? Can I reload the software from the web site with out reloading all my media? Or do I have to unistal and reinstal?

Thanks Ed

You can download and install MC again, without uninstalling.  Make sure you get the version that matches your license.  Old versions are on the wiki in a topic called "Old Versions".

You could search for the @Juli card here.

If you're using ASIO, change the 'Channel offset' in ASIO settings until you get sound from the right channels.

You can also use DSP Studio > Parametrice Equalizer > Order channels to correct any channel ordering issues.  This is more useful on multi-channel output than 2 channel output.
